I do a lot of thinking about you – each of you – and how you accomplish your job tasks with Revolution Online as a critical tool. I imagine myself in your place at the keyboard (or tablet) and think about the business processes you perform and the data inputs and outputs you need. I also factor in suggestions we receive from you on options or capabilities you wish where there. Then, I take a step back from the picture that has been drawn and ask: “Why? Why is she doing that task? Why is he doing it that way? Why are they wanting that specific option?” These are questions that immerse me in the data management problem you are trying to solve. Only when I have those insights, am I ready to start designing the solution.
One example of a “big idea” that I have stewarded is the new capability in Engaging Network’s Supporter Hub that allows your donors to update their sustainer payment method and amount. Our partnership with Engaging Networks was a solution to our clients’ need for a digital engagement platform that was thoughtfully integrated with Revolution Online. Both companies manage that integration as an extension of our respective products. When new features are introduced by one, the other is looking at how it may benefit user needs in the other. The new capability is the result of our collaboration to build the best sustainer management solution for our clients.
Now, you have the benefits of online tools for new sustainer acquisition, lapsed sustainer recapture and sustainer upgrades combined with Revolution Online as the sustainer database of record so you can easily service any sustainer donor regardless of the channel through which they signed up. You also leverage the revenue recapture of our state-of-the-art payment processing capabilities and our machine learning sustainer loyalty model to help identify and engage with donors who could potentially drop their commitments.
