About The Internship

The Professional Services team consists of project managers, business analysts, and technical analysts who focus on new client implementations, integrations, and special projects. We work closely with clients to understand their data and business needs, then transform them into system requirements, data mappings, and technical specifications. We code data conversion scripts, perform data validation, and do end-to-end testing of custom processes. As an intern, you will assist us with validation of converted CRM data, and the formulation and execution of test cases for automated procedures, imports, and exports. You will also have the opportunity to work on internal initiatives such as the creation of Quality Control checklists and templates or interviewing subject matter experts on CRM features in order to publish “Did You Know?” articles. The ideal candidate is forward-thinking, passionate, and excited to create a positive impact within the team and for the client.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or similar level skills through alternative route, or have other relevant education/experience.
  • Ability to commute to our Medford, MA office preferred; part or fully remote available.

What You will Learn:

Exposure to the discovery process, business analysis, project management, troubleshooting, new technologies, and an opportunity to learn the multi-faceted work of ROI Solutions. Gain an in-depth understanding of how a CRM company works, experience handling competing responsibilities in a fast-paced environment, opportunity to build meaningful relationships with key stakeholders at nonprofit organizations. Training topics will include:

  • Revolution Online CRM
  • Nonprofit fundraising terminology and concepts
  • CRM implementation process
  • Relational database concepts
  • Cyber Security awareness
  • Departmental overviews
  • Basic SQL (Structured Query Language)
