Sean serves as the Director of Software Development and brings over 20 years of technical design and leadership experience to ROI Solutions.
Prior to ROI Solutions, Sean’s technical career began as a software engineer and systems architect with the pioneering CRM firm Tessera Enterprise Systems. At Tessera, he specialized in the design and implementation of customized CRM integrations, including best-of-breed toolsets for reporting, campaign management, and ETL processes with some of the world’s largest customer data warehouses.
Sean moved on to a startup company, Eleven Technology and served as Chief Software Architect where he became regarded as an industry expert on the emerging Microsoft.Net Compact Framework. There he spent the next several years leading a team of engineers developing a Mobile Application Framework for creating customized solutions for leading companies in the CPG industry, one of which was featured by Bill Gates in a Microsoft Keynote Address. When Eleven was acquired by Trimble, Inc., Sean stayed on as lead architect the new Mobile Solutions Group and continued development of the framework and it’s adoption into several different divisions of the company, including Rail, Environmental, Utilities, and Construction Logistics. He later moved permanently into the Construction Logistics division at Trimble where he helped lead application development in delivery workflow and GPS navigation. Additionally, while at Trimble he focused on cloud migration and IOT micro-services for fleet tracking and driver safety.
In his previous career, Sean managed popular film and concert venues in the Boston area. He loves music and keeps active in show business as stage manager for The Melrose Symphony Orchestra, “The Oldest Continuously Performing Volunteer Orchestra in America”, which, according to him, he is not talented enough to play in. (We don’t believe him).
