Tom brings his passion for people, processes, and training to ROI Solutions as Human Resources Manager. His professional career started the year ROI Solutions was founded and has spanned both the for-profit and non-profit sectors.
Most recently, Tom served as HR Senior Manager for the London-based tech firm SilverRail, where he was responsible for all HR functions for their Boston location. Previously, Tom was an HR Manager at Brooksby Village, a large retirement community in Peabody, Massachusetts. In addition to providing the full range of HR support for over 300 employees, most of whom were in healthcare, Tom also served as chair of the Values & Culture committee and ran diversity trainings.
Earlier in his career, Tom worked for Special Olympics, Massachusetts in the role of Director of Volunteers & Family Programs, where he was responsible for recruitment, training, deployment, recognition and retention of all the volunteers for their statewide sports tournaments. Tom is thrilled to be working alongside nonprofit organizations again.
In his role at ROI Solutions, Tom gets to build on the foundation of success that has made us the CRM for nonprofits looking for a long-term partnership to help achieve their mission by helping and empowering the people behind the technology. His work is focused on an amazing group of diverse, innovative, & talented humans who come to work each day driven to make the world a better place. The team is passionate about nonprofits and our role in helping them more productively and efficiently achieve their goals.
Tom loves learning, is never afraid to ask questions, and is always eager to share what he learns. He is credentialed by the Society for HR Management as a Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) and is currently completing certificate programs with the Academy to Innovate HR (‘HR Business Partner 2.0’ and ‘Diversity & Inclusion’). He holds a BS in NonProfit Management from Arizona State University.
Tom and his wife Candice have two children, Georgia & Patrick. Outside of work Tom spends his time as youth soccer coach, ultimate frisbee player, and occasional beer brewer.
